Planchette was born out of a simple frustration: business phone systems are overpriced, opaque, and treat your data like their product. We built the phone system we wanted — one that respects your privacy, runs on your terms, and uses AI to eliminate busywork instead of creating it.

Every call, fax, SMS, and voicemail is encrypted by default. You choose where your data lives. There are no per-user fees, no contracts, and no vendor lock-in. If you want to self-host, you get the full source and deploy on your own infrastructure.
